When used as a traditional light stand it reaches a maximum height of 500 cm/196.9 in and has a 30 kg/66.1 lbs capacity. The combination rugged built-in pivot clamp converts this stand easily into a boom! When the combi boom stand is in boom mode the min boom extension is 155 cm/61 in and has a capacity of 30 kg/66.1 lbs and when extended the max boom extension is 266 cm/105 in and the capacity is 8 kg/17.6 lbs. Whether in traditional stand mode or in boom mode a hooked (G200-1) sandbag is a useful addition to provide boom counterbalance or increase stand stability.
